MonkeyManMiles: SICK DAY and Other Stuff

Just because we made it through cold and flu season doesn't mean we left those pesky ear infections behind, nosiree! Ear infection No. 3 arrived Wednesday with a vengence. Miles's temperature hit upwards of 104 (quickly) before we realized we weren't just dealing with teething here. We whisked him away to ol' Doc Slaymaker's office and returned bearing antibiotics and free Motrin (score). Given all that, naturally, a sick day was in order. Miles had a rough night last night but seems to be doing much better today, as you'll see in the following pics............he really was sick you guys, really! This was not just a 'sick' day for Mom -- though I'd be lying like a rug if I didn't say that I loved being home with the monkey : ) -- please note the following: Kleenex box in foreground for perpetually runny nose and vacuum cleaner in background for, well, I'm not exactly sure how it relates but I do know that I'm going to ask Craig to put it to use this weekend. ANYWAY, back to Miles.

Life is good. I think a full recovery is likely in my immediate future and with any luck, my wards will catch this a little sooner next time, thanks very much!
