SNOW DAY(S)

We've had a lot of them in KC this winter, with who knows how many more to come. Makes the weekends a bit challenging; drumming up ways for Miles to blow off some steam while keeping the house intact! Indoor forts certainly help.

I believe I'll have myself a nap now.

KWANZA HAT/HAPPNIN' FRIDAY NITE and Miles's Infected Chin

Miles had no interest in wearing the Kwanza hat he made at CernerKids until recently, when he spontaneously decided the time was right. I couldn't have agreed more.

With Craig's work schedule of late being 18 kinds of crazy, Miles and I spend a lot of time just chillin'. Last Friday night called for pictures - not sure why, given Miles's Strep-infected chin (yes, you can have Strep on your face, as well as on your bottom if you're prone to wearing diapers. Miles elected to have both - we like to be thorough around here). Craig, on the other hand, chose the more traditional path of Strep that invaded every available surface of his throat - OUCH.

Miles is a BIG TIME Doodlebops fan. So naturally, we got tickets for one of their shows in KC. But for the late start and too-lengthy-for-toddlers/babies intermission, he seemed to think it was pretty darned neat.
